MI Class of 1965,
We have made the final plans for getting together on June 5, 2010 and they are as follows:
We have a hall at the church which is actually an old gym. The building is named Religious Education Youth Ministry Room. We have set the time as 1 PM on June the 5th, lasting till 8 PM. If you want to help set up we will be there at noon, if you want to help clean up, we will be there till 9.
We can bring what we want to drink into the hall. This includes beer/wine, but we have to be responsible. So we decided that what ever you plan to drink, be it water, coke, beer or Hawaiian Punch, bring it with you. We will have some extra ice chests, and limited drinks, for those of you coming from out of town. Some folks are bringing some snacks to munch on before dinner, and you can add to that if you like.
I have talked to Marshall’s BBQ and they have a wide variety of meat plates. Brisket, Turkey, Ribs, Chicken, Pork Loin. We can order based on what you want at around 3:30 and have it picked up by 5:00. Dinners are $10 per person. If this won’t fit your diet plans, you can make your arrangements for food.
The hall we are using requires a donation to the school. The following website explains how the funds are used. They have stated that other classes have donated $300-$400, so we need at least meet that. I don’t want to nail down what each person will need to donate because I don’t know how many will come. Also I don’t want to limit what you might want to donate to the school. My guess is it should not be more than $15 – $20 per classmate based on the folks that have said they wanted to come. Here is the link.

An RSVP would be cool, but if you don’t, don’t let that stop you from coming. Bring anyone else that might want to come, it is a big room. Be sure to bring any old pictures or other memorabilia. I look forward to seeing everyone there. If you have any questions you can email me.
